Upper Church Barn is opposite St Madoc church which looks out onto Whiteford Sands - a vast two mile expanse of beach at the edge of the Loughor Estuary.
The barn's light and airy space houses a downstairs bathroom, double bedroom and an open plan kitchen / diner and living room area. A spiral staircase (complete with stair gates top and bottom) leads to an upstairs double bedroom with an additional single bed and two single beds housed on the balcony overlooking the living area.
Accessed through Whiteford Burrows and Cwm ivy - a dune and pine plantation owned by the National Trust, the beach and surrounding area is classified as one of the many National Nature Reserves on Gower, and is only a 10-15 minute walk from the barn.
The community shop is a 5 minute walk and the local pub - the Britannia Inn - serving fantastic food is a 10 minute walk.
